WITH 4 DIFFERENT TERROIRS
With 150 hectares (370 acres), the Vignobles Boudat Cigana are divided into 4 properties in 4 different areas in South West of France. The main one, located in Mourens, is the historical property of the vineyard where we produce red, white and rosé wines.
MOURENS
This vineyard is located in the region of Entre-deux-Mers, on sunny hills. The clay-limestone soil gives structured, elegant, balanced and very pleasant wine to drink.
Appellations : Bordeaux Supérieur, Bordeaux Rosé, Bordeaux Dry White, Bordeaux Clairet et Entre-Deux-Mers
SAINT-EMILION
Recently purchased by the family, this property is located on famous and renowned Saint Emilion area. Terroir conducive to the development of ones of the best wines in the word.
Appellation : Saint-Emilion Grand Cru
SAINTE-CROIX-DU-MONT
Located in front of Sauternes, on sunny hillsides bordering the Garonne, where the weather is propitious for the development of the mushroom, the "Botrytis Cinerea". Through this perfect exposure, the Sémillon evolves slowly form a ripe golden grape to a divine withering, the "Noble Rot".
Appellations : Sainte-Croix-du-Mont and Côtes de Bordeaux
LANGON
Located on beautiful plateau 30km South of Bordeaux, and on a terroir of poor and arid gravel. It is this poverty that gives richness to the wine, by obtaining a good maturity and a great complexity.
